I found something cool and wanted to pass it along to you. Google states backlinks aren’t all that important for stuff like SEO and rankings, but the truth is they still are. I monitor my SEO/PPC clients sites with Google Alerts. Each month we submit their business to local citations. One of them triggered Google alerts which mean they see that citation as a backlink/mention of my clients business! That’s a good citation. 🙂
